If you had a camera on the trip and would like to have your pictures added to this page, please bring them on a cd to the high school office and I will add them as soon as possible. Thank you, Bob Fishback.

Day 1 of the Washington D.C. trip is finished. The band arrived safely and spent the afternoon and evening visiting the sites. There are nine picture galleries below for you to view.

Arlington National Cemetery

Day 2 of the Washington D.C. trip. Today was amazing. We toured the Arlington National Cemetery and four of our students participated in the Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers. It was a very emotional and somber ceremony. Gallery 1 contains images of the cemetery as we walked to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers. Galleries 2 and 3 have pictures of the changing of the guard. Gallery 4 has the wreath laying pictures. Gallery 5 has the last of the Laying of the Wreath Ceremony and pictures of the Iwo Jima Memorial. Gallery 6 contains pictures of the Ford's Theater and the Peterson House where President Lincoln was taken to die.

President Bush Landing at the White House

While we were waiting for the Forsan band to march by us two helicopters flew directly overhead. The first one was a decoy and broke off after it reached the White House. The second helicopter had President Bush on board. These two galleries are the best of the pictures. You can see President Bush waving to the crowd after he departed the helicopter. The helicopter then  took off and flew directly over us again.
