The Forsan Math Team participated in the Lubbock Coronado UIL meet and their number sense team brought home a first-place trophy. Forsan also took third place honors in the mathematics contest. Receiving medals and ribbons in the senior division were Jonathan Purcell, second place in number sense and mathematics and Courtney Holdampf, fourth place in number sense and mathematics. In the sophomore division, Vince Penik received a first-place medal for number sense and was eighth in mathematics.  Jeremy Robbins placed fifth in calculator and ninth in mathematics. For the freshmen, Evan Burton received a medal for third place in mathematics and ribbons for sixth place in number sense and seventh place in calculator.  Amanda Longorio took sixth place in calculator and Aaron Johnson was eighth in calculator.
