John Wayne and Ginger,

We are at a loss. We want to help ease your pain, but we realize that is not within our power. It is our hope that this picture will give you some comfort. Many fine people had a part in this because they do honor and respect the sacrifice Chad and your family has made for our nation and local community.

Wayne Rotan took the responsibility to approve this project.
Steve Park called his son-in-law, Shane Sayles, who works for Trinity Memorial Park. They graciously loaned us 100 United States Flags.
John Stilwell and his maintenance crew worked all morning to hang the flags around the track.
Jeremy Higginbotham spent the afternoon charting the letters and then staking and stringing them on the field.
Jimmy Rhodes painted the field so the letters were visible for the students and faculty to lay on.
Lt. Terry Chamness of the Big Spring Police Department took the pictures and did a great job.
Bob Brock donated his plane and piloting skills.
Carla Harrold of "Greenhouse Photography" climbed on top of  the press box taking more excellent pictures.
Faculty and students of Forsan wore red, white, and blue and posed for the picture.

God Bless You
