Alon USA Backs Forsan ISD Students

	Alon Refinery Superintendent of Operations Jim Alexander presented a check for $7.000.00 to Jan Sims, Forsan High School Debate sponsor on Tuesday,September 26 to purchase laptop computers, printers, and a scanner as well as accessories for the Forsan Debate Teams. This is the first year that debaters have been allowed to use computers during debate rounds. Following a written request from the debate teams and the work of Dean Wheeler, Alon voted unanimously to fund the project which met all of their educational requirements for donations.

Former students as well as the debate teams consisting of Rachael Wheeler and Clint Lockhart, two time state qualifiers; and novice debater teams Caitlyn Jones and Alex Newsom and Aric Denton and Ryan Flores.

Laptops will enable the students to have the cutting edge in debate competition as well as saving the school money by reducing paper usage.
