There have been changes that will go
into effect for the 2001-2002 school year concerning
the student dress code.
1. Shorts shall be long enough to reach the extended
fingertips of a student when standing and arms are at the side (this should be
about mid-thigh).
2. All students shall wear shoes for safety and health
reasons. Thongs and flip-flops are not
appropriate. All footwear will be
properly tied, buckled, or appropriately secured.
3. Side-burns shall be kept neatly trimmed and be no
longer than the earlobe.
4. Clothing shall not permit excessive exposure of the
body in front, back or side view.
Garments shall not be backless, excessively tight, nor permit exposure
of cleavage. Appropriate undergarments
shall be worn at all times. Shoulder
straps must be at least 2” (two inches) wide.
5. Top and bottom garments must not separate to expose
the student’s skin from the front, back, or side when performing normal school
activities (bending, stretching, reaching, etc.).
