  •  College Class Basics for

    JUNIORS

    *Here’s what we offer:
          -CNA – Certified Nurses Assistant
          -US History (both semesters)
          -Online electives – Speech, Music                           Appreciation, Sociology

     *You get college and high school credit for US History – that means they count on your high school GPA and your College GPA.

    *Note: in college, 60s are passing.  You still have to make 70 or above to get high school credit.

    *These classes DO cost money!  2 classes cost approximately $278 per semester, 3 cost $392 and 4 cost $506
    (which is REALLY cheap for college classes!) 

    *TUITION IS DUE THE FIRST DAY OF COLLEGE CLASSES (in August)

    *Our school board currently pays for textbooks.  They are discussing paying for tuition INSTEAD of textbooks.  More information to follow.

     *High School Classes that qualify for Howard

       College Credit:
         -Principles of Manufacturing
         -Child Development
         -Lifetime Nutrition and Wellness
         -BIM 2
         -Web Technology
         -Engineering Design (CAD Class)
