Prom season is right around the corner, which means fundraisers are ramping up. Forsan High School seniors are having a fundraiser to raise money for After Prom. Bundt cakes will be sold until Feb. 6 at 3 p.m. and will be delivered on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14. Bundt cakes can be purchased from seniors or purchased at upcoming school functions until Feb. 6, and bundt cakes can be picked up at either campus from 2-4 p.m.
“The Forsan High School senior parents are working hard to prepare an enjoyable safe, alcohol/drug-free atmosphere for our students after prom,” stated Stacey Park, a senior class sponsor. “We are asking you to please consider donating to help with the Forsan After Prom Party. We are in need of prizes, such as gift certificates or products as well as monetary donations.”
Bundt cakes are $7 each and come in a variety of flavors including red velvet, chocolate chocolate chip, lemon, white chocolate, raspberry, confetti, strawberries and cream, and oreo crumble. All proceeds of the fundraiser will go towards the After Prom event, which will take place on April 15 at Forsan High School.
During After Prom, students will be able to enjoy a variety of games and events, such as Vegas-style games, bouncy houses, volleyball and cornhole tournaments, Nerf gun wars, food, and other fun activities with supervision and security. The senior class is also accepting donations for the event as well.
